Whether you are a law student or one coming from data or computer science, and you want to:
- Gain practical knowledge about “Responsible AI” relevant to your research and professional career
- Learn how to spot ethical issues throughout the life cycle of AI systems
- Engage with students from diverse disciplines
- Network with senior professionals in the field of AI
The international winter school on Responsible AI will allow graduate students in data/computer science or law (and other closely related disciplines) to tackle ethical challenges of contemporary AI-based technologies. Engaging in “hands on” activities, students will be given a unique opportunity to use their skills in a collaborative and cross-disciplinary effort to analyze and address ethical issues with AI systems. We will cover diverse aspects of embedding human values in AI systems, such as fairness, privacy, transparency & explanabilty, accountability, policy and regulation. Previously the winter school was offered as an academic course around the globe in leading institutions such as Cornell Tech, Boston University, Bocconi University, the Technion, Tel-Aviv University and University of Haifa.
